I had no idea that Lacrosse was such a huge sport. I had never watched Lacrosse until Tyler walked into this first practice back in May.
I wanted to say Thank You for bringing us into the Lacrosse world. I should especially thank the Joslings for the phone call to come to the arena that night. Lacrosse is a great thing.
Tyler, Aaron and I have had a great summer. We enjoyed meeting so many new families and the hours spent cheering on our team.
Thanks to Rick, Eric, Jason and Scott for their patience, encouragement, and support of the boys and passing on so much knowledge of the sport. To Eric, a special thanks for taking such good care of Tyler in between periods - I always thought that was so cute.
Dona Lei, what can I say. You are contagious and Im glad I caught it. I love your spirit, your energy and enthusiasm and your true love of the sport. Thanks!

History of Lacrosse
The First Nations began playing the sport more than 500 years ago. Today lacrosse not only remains an integral part of native culture, but is played by thousands of people across Canada. From its origin as 'The Creator's Game' to the overwhelming popularity of the Toronto Rock and the modern game, lacrosse has survived the test of time after treading down a long, controversial path that led it to become recognized as Canada's official national sport.

President's Message

The Toronto Stars Lacrosse Association focuses on promoting Canada’s National Summer Sport to everyone, regardless of gender or skill level. The volunteer executive strives to create a Safe & Fun environment with an emphasis on developing Sportsmanship, Leadership, Teamwork and basic Lacrosse skills.

The executive will always try our best to be accessible to our members or to anyone who has questions or concerns regarding the game or the league. We have always considered the Toronto Stars to be YOUR LEAGUE, not ours, and this is demonstrated by our history of implementing changes on the requests or consensus of players and parents. We believe it takes the involvement of the whole community to run a successful organization & we sincerely encourage everyone to become more involved with your league.

We would like to recognize and thank all the volunteers who have made our first eight seasons a huge success, and wish everyone the best in lacrosse this year.

Ron Parkinson - League President
